The Moon passes through the Water Bearer's Urn

The Moon may be in the zodiacal sign of Pisces today, but she is passing through the constellation of Aquarius. The Babylonians referred to this constellation as the Seat of the Flowing Water. Yesterday the Moon passed over the star Ancha --a drop of water falling from the urn. And today she passes near Situla --the first star in the flow of water at the edge of the urn. 

These waters are symbolic of the cycle of creation, both in its life-promoting forms and floods and in the storms that take life away.
